The Old Reading Room sleeps 2

This lovely little cottage was once the Reading Room for Kersey, Suffolks very very prettiest hamlet. This cottage has lovely open log fires in both the main room and the bedroom - just how romantic do you want a place to be?

This lovely little cottage is an absolute perfect getaway from hectic city life.

Kersey is without doubt the prettiest tiny village in Suffolk; you can see most of it in the 2 pictures above !

I couldn't even take the photo without a photographer taking a picture of Me !! - Can you spot him crouching on the other side of the Splash ?

The Old Reading Room is close to 'The Splash' where the stream runs over 'The Street', a good local pub serving decent food is just on the other side of the splash and there are great walks from the splash into the pretty 'Kersey Vale' and beyond.

The main room where the breakfast bar, sofas and open log fire are, used to originally be a bake house and you can seen the wonderful array of Bake ovens still in the wall, upstairs there is a neat little shower bathroom and a lovely bedroom, again with an open log fire - just how romantic do you want a place to be ?

There is a tiny but sunny patio at the back, enough for breakfast in the sun and we provide bikes for guests to enjoy the South Suffolk Cycle Route, which passes by the cottage.

We are happy to accept pets in this cosy little cottage.

change-over days are Friday's, Sunday's and Monday's for weekend, midweek or weekly breaks.

This is a very romantic little cottages in a very very special location, ideal for walking, cycling or just staring into a log fire from the sofa.
